Pulley Block

Description

The crane pulley block is a fixed structural component composed of a fixed pulley and a movable pulley, which works with the hook group to save effort and change the direction of force. It is made of cast iron, cast steel or rolled steel. The rope groove radius is designed to be 0.6 times the diameter of the wire rope to optimize the contact surface, and the bearing uses a rolling bearing to improve the transmission efficiency. Its mechanical efficiency is affected by the gravity of the object, the deadweight of the movable pulley and friction factors. The load capacity ranges from 5 tons to 100 tons. It is mainly used in heavy lifting equipment such as bridge cranes and port machinery.
